Public Holiday in Sindh on 27 December 2022

In addition, the Sindh government has declared December 27, 2022, as a public holiday in the province in honour of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto's shahadat. The announcement stated that all offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative jurisdiction of the Government of Sindh will be closed on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in honour of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto's shahadat. 

 Additionally, it stated that there will be an exception for individuals performing critical services and those working on COVID-19 emergency and flood relief tasks.
